Neva Rockefeller is an American economist and a fourth generation member of the Rockefeller family and by this also shareholder in Exxon Mobil (as one of the companies that was formed after the anti-trust legislation driven split-up of Standard Oil in ) She is also the director of the Global Development and Environment Institute. She is the initiator of a shareholder driven strategy change of Exxon ("the current management has nothing in common with the company founder"). She wants to change the strategy of Exxon and by this changing the current oil companies into renewable/sustainable energy companies.
